Self-Service Environment
Many Super Markets toady have started to use Self-Service environments on their customers as they have the ability to do I all themselves, and they can do it at their own pace. Customers like these independent environment as they do not have to dress appropriately as they can do their shopping or banking in whatever they want to wear. Many other businesses have started to take up the idea of Self-Service Environment as it makes the companies and customers life a lot easier.
I agree with this statement and the fact that it makes customer's lives easier, however this self service environment could be creating less jobs on the shop floor as more people are now shopping online. Also, being able to bank online is safer than carrying around large amounts of money to the bank, as there is a much lower chance of the money getting lost or stolen.
ReplyDeleteI believe that doing online banking can be hard to do for people who have never used it therefore it can be easier to use the branches. We can now get comparing sites to find the cheapest deals on your online shopping.
ReplyDeleteI agree with these comment but as a result of this the staff in the actual shops is not needed. This cause the businesses to get rid of the staff they do not need, this will increase unemployment which is bad for the economy.
ReplyDeleteIn summary I have learnt that, although self-service environments can be useful for the business, it can be costly for the employees because they are no longer needed in the shop, and so become unemployed. This is not good for the country as more and more businesses open an online store, and increasing unemployment.
